My face painting journey began when I volunteered at my children’s school’s Under 8’s Day. It was busy, I wasn’t very good at it, and the paints weren’t great – but I absolutely loved it!
With three young boys who were always dressing up for Book Week, Halloween and school events, I decided to invest in some professional face paints and brushes. Before long, I was painting at local markets, learning from other face painters, watching online tutorials and practising every chance I got.
What started as a hobby has grown into something I’m truly passionate about. I love seeing children’s faces light up when they see their finished face paint, and being part of life’s special celebrations. Every event is an opportunity to create smiles, spark imaginations and leave people with wonderful memories.

I love seeing the excitement on children’s faces as they transform into superheroes, butterflies, tigers, princesses and everything in between. Creating colourful memories and big smiles is what it’s all about.
I’ve also been having a lot of fun learning balloon twisting, which is the perfect addition to face painting. Balloon creations keep the fun going and add even more excitement to your event.

Based in Mount Molloy, Amazing Faces travels throughout Far North Queensland, bringing colourful face painting and fun to events across the Atherton Tablelands, Cairns, the Northern Beaches, Port Douglas, Gordonvale and surrounding areas.
I bring everything I need, so there’s no need to provide tables or chairs.
All I ask for is:
- A shaded or undercover area
- Good lighting so I can create my best work
